Ten technologies are about to move the ground, reshaping business models, organisations and the people they serve.

For thirty years, Joachim De Vos has researched why transformation stalls — in books, frameworks and scenario models — and brings that thinking into boardrooms and onto stages worldwide. Author, professor at Ghent University, trained in scenario planning at Oxford.
Every keynote and workshop starts as research — tested in books, sharpened into frameworks, then brought into the room to change how leaders decide.

From a keynote to a two-day sessionKey six of Why Innovation Fails
No dashboards nobody reads. No data strategy that disappears into a drawer. Why Data Wins shows in seven steps how organisations turn data into a real engine, not a report.
Why Innovation Fails — named Management Book of the Year and Marketing Book of the Month, and the first LannooCampus title to ship with an AI companion so readers can question it directly (VRT News). More about this book
A third book, on organisational culture, is in the making with Kim Nelis.
Every framework here started as research and became a working tool. Leadership teams use them on printed canvases, in their own rooms, on their own decisions.

Measures innovation maturity across twelve dimensions.

Shows where an organisation actually stands on data.

Determines that in minutes and names the next logical step.

Opens decisions nobody can explain.

Reads how a team is built and where it is thin.

Measures readiness for AI transformation in people, not technology.

Why do so many innovation and data efforts stall, when the technology is rarely the problem?
For more than thirty years, Joachim De Vos has explored that question from the inside, working with more than 600 organisations worldwide. An engineer in microelectronics, MBA graduate of FBS-KU Leuven and Kellogg, trained in scenario planning at Oxford, he combines a technologist's grasp of what is possible with a strategist's eye for what comes next. Today he is a professor at Ghent University and serves on the Advisory Council of Harvard Business Review.
His books Why Innovation Fails and Why Data Wins grew out of one recurring paradox: leaders could see the future coming, yet their organisations were still not ready when it arrived.
His work is about closing that gap: turning foresight into decisions, innovation into action, and data into impact.
